Mmmmoo!

I just don’t know what to say about this milk bottle label. I grew up on a farm and I like cows, but sexy?

The job of the artist is to get your attention so you will chose the product. Mission accomplished.

Well, it's got to be a cow - but where are the udders?

And if this is a humanoid cow, where are the humanoid alluring bits such as eye lashes, red lips and maybe a bra and panties? This just looks like a bovine of indeteminate gender sunning itself in a relaxed pose!

The French do seem fond of humanising their animals (Laughing Cow, etc). But then so do we (Meerkat.com).

Lucy the udders?

I'm having trouble with duplicated or mangled comments when doing it on my phone! Sorry.

Lucymangled comments when doing it on my phone! Sorry.

Can't be sexy when it's anatomically incorrect. :)

I'm more disturbed by the fact that it's U.H.T. processed. As far as I know, we don't have that here. Does it taste any different than normally pasteurized milk?

Halle: thank you for the link, it was worth following up.

Lucy: No worries about the comments. i'm wondering just how much the artist knows about cows, the poor things legs are on back to front.

Véronique: It tastes better than pasturised. I only shop once a week (the british milkman is something I miss) so it needs to keep. It is skimmed milk so that's a good point.

Haha thats so bizarre. The world of advertising is a strange one!

daughter says, advertising does not intend to relay the truth. it twists the truth to gain market. otherwise, they'll end up not selling. :-D

as to the cow posing, does it not give an idea that the milk helps you relax? ha ha just silly thoughts.

Oh la vache! She does look happy; I find the representations of cheerful pigs outside butchers far more disturbing, and then there's something like this

..which would really rather put me off my saucisson, I must say.

I love it! Looks like a real cool cow.

Ergo cool milk?

Thanks for sharing this little gem that could otherwise have remained quietly in your refrigerator door unknown to the world outside your part of France. I love it!

I think it is cute. There are a lot of cows around here. They are mostly black and brown ones. Never seen a green spotted one.

Kind of cute - but where are the udders?

Sy: i'm not sure how much they paid this artist, but...

Bing: Perhaps milk is relaxing.

Dru: We have the happy-to-be-cut-up-into-sausage-pigs here too and the joyful lambs turning into chops.

Looked at the link after I typed that - I might have known.

Dois: a real cool cow - exactly.

Jamie: That's the way it goes.

Connie: that's the only green one I've seen too - Grren stands for skimmed here.

Cas: Perhaps it was for family viewing?
