I think that this list was sent to me by a friend who teaches in the US. I've been hanging onto it for a moment and decided to share it after rereading it today. It brought tears of laughter to my eyes.
I am now teaching PSR (Parish School of Religion) to 11/12th graders, and three of the four are AP (Advance Placement) students, but only ONE of the four can read and sound out words. VERY scary!
Don: I'm not sure how old that is, but I understand old enough to be reading fluently! When I come across people who can't read, I always feel sorry for all of the books they're missing out on.
