Mystery solved

I really think that the mystery bird is a - Nightingale! I went outside this afternoon after a particularly amazing outbreak of song (The bird, not me) and this is what I saw!

Thank goodness; a mystery solved. I was wondering.

I love the song of nightingales. I once was riding my motorbike down through France and stopped, late at night, on a wooded hill, to have a stretch. When I switched off the engine, the first thing I heard was a nightingale singing. It was a lovely moment.

Dru: It really is amazing , isn't it? I imagine very soothing after a days ride.

Florence?

Bomarzo: This is wierd. I don't know why you wrote Florence. When I read Dru's comment yesterday morning I was reminded of one of my marine Biology students called Florence who used to ride a motorbike. I must write and ask her if I can post the pics she sent to me of the pengiuns and icebergs.

Now I must work out why you've written Florence.....
