We've got snow!

Well, it is unusual for us.
This was the view from the kitchen window this morning.

From the street.

Rob didn’t go into work, too slippery for a bike and the buses weren’t running. This afternoon he’s ‘working from home’ busy with the timetable for work.

So you look out on stone walls too. My road has too strong a camber on the noth side so once a few cars have driven over the snow it is impossible to cross the road by foot.

Bet yours is gone before ours!

We've got snow too - tomorrow I'm going to see if I can build an igloo

This snow is certainly getting around. Looks lovely and has such a Christmassy feel. Pity we are screwed up with the commuting. It is rare for you though .... whereas as you know the UK has it often enough and yet we still do not get our heads around it from a transport perspective. Crazy.

Caroline: You won your bet!

Véronique: But you have so much more snow than us...

Bill: I should have run out to make an igloo for Playmobile men before it melted.

Hakeem: It looks nice at first but then you have to walk/drive on it - it's not fun for long.

Doris: It's fine as long as you only have to look at it through the window.

Debbie: I love the view from my kitchen. I had the position of the house changed so that the kitchen gets views of the sun rising.

Anji, our there we tend to have snow only in the mountains. We did have a couple early snowfalls, but now it's back to rain. That's why I live in this part of Canada. :)
