The weekly shop wasn’t too routine this week either. I should have turned back as it was very stormy and the rain was horizontal. There weren’t too many cars on the road which was a good job because of fallen branches. Back home I unloaded the car in the worst of it. It calmed down about half an hour after I got home. The North of France and the UK had much worse weather than here.

There has been a lot of extreme weather just about everywhere this winter.
Glad you're ok. Those fallen branches can cause a lot of problems.

I did read about the bad weather in Europe lately on my rss feeds. I even saw a video of an airplane having problems landing in Germany. I hope that all will be ok when I land in Europe in 2 days.
cassie, don't talk to me about falling branches!
It seems this weather is too unpredictable and quite stormy. Fortunately, we are already enjoying some spring time here in Lisbon. Otherwise. I would just look at the posts on sunny Santorini... ;)
Have a great weekend!

It's been bad in Belgium too earlier this week. I have a bit of flimsy, white, plastic awning in my garden - andybody's?
Cas: I think we're feeling the effects of global warming
Peter: I hope that you arrived home safely.
John G: I don't think that most people realise just how dangerous branches can be.
gmg: My MIL used to spend her winters is Portugal, she really misses the sun.
Zoe: it's not mine...
