To celebrate July 14th in France, he provided the main firework display for Paris, by the Eiffel Tower and two weeks ago, the fireworks to celebrate the marriage of Prince Albert of Monaco to Princess Charlene.

Best not to listen to grandparents or parents.
It was some years after the event that I heard that my mother had declined a job offer "on my behalf!" to be the assistant to the director of a huge department store where I had been working holidays and weekends when at school.
My child has more ambitious plans!!
Her child needed somewhere like that to fall into. The director moved on to head a chain of large stores and perhaps...
I could have done with more pyrotechnics instead of a damp squib.
I guess we can all think of situations where our parents' decisions headed our lives in certain directions not to our liking.

Caroline: I wish that my parents had been more ambitious for me too. then again, I had friends who moaned because ytheir parents pushed them too much.
