Garden update
The front doorstep is now covered in pink snow. Everything is growing very fast after the rain and sunshine, especially the weeds. I went out and worked on the front flower beds for an hour during the week. I pulled up a big handful of grass where it shouldn’t be and discovered a handful of toad. He hobbled away in a most disgruntled manner, I did apologize, he’s useful in the garden. When we go for our evening walk we see lots of toads, unfortunately they don’t do too well if they come into contact with cars. The kitchen windowsill lizard is back too, she’s bigger and fatter this year. I think they live for around 6 years, I’d say that this one is three or four now.
