For the last 11 years (already?) I’ve had an annual appointment with the ‘wimmins’ doctor, who always put me in mind of the Swedish Chef from the Muppets. He’s such a nice man and so polite.
My last appointment with him was a week ago. All is well.
He’s retiring very soon and will be replaced by a young woman ‘wimmins' doctor. I’ve never had one of those before, so I wonder how we will get on.

Hey Anji! I cant find where I can respond to my blogs comments, so I will try here. THe person who was lost and is now found is Leslie "Critter Chick" from Alberta CA. She is fine, they both just got too wrapped up in their blogs to stay with it. I so know the feeling. I was thrilled to hear from her again.
I too have had a female GYN, and after the initial weird feeling, (never had a female look there before) it was great. She is gentler and has smaller hands! ;)

So Leslie is alive and well! I'm pleased That you found her again.
