The Summer of 1970
... and other stories. Is now available in paperback, published on Amazon! It took me a couple of days to work out how to make a cover and line up the text neatly within the margins. Look for my full name; Angela Knutsen , on Amazon to find the book and other titles available for Kindle for the time being.

My new book has arrived!
I'm very pleased to announce the arrival of my third book, 'Beausejour'. It’s available for Kindle on Amazon. I’m not putting a link directly for my book here as it won’t work in all countries. The best is to go to Amazon and search for my name in the Kindle Store.
If you're interested you can visit my page at Author Central.

The Summer of 1970
I’ve now published my second book on Kindle. It’s free for five days from Sunday 17th January to Thursday 21st. If you don’t own a Kindle you can also read on your smartphone, tablet or computer. I have the app on my smartphone and was surprised how comfortable reading on the phone can be. I use it as a back up when I’m out in case I leave my Kindle at home.

Exciting times
I have finally published a book on Kindle!!
It’s taken quite a while and challenged my knowledge of Word, but I got there in the end
As from today you can buy Angie Brynner & Company from Amazon for your Kindle. Did you know that if you haven’t got a Kindle reader you can download an App for smartphones, or you can read using your tablet or computer?

Some ideas are better than others
I’ve got my Igoogle set up so that when I click the icon for Mozilla it’s all there. All decorated (Elena Suprun) just like home. The latest widget I’ve acquired is the Writers Idea Bank; every time you refresh the page, 5 more crazy ideas pop up. Great for blogging too!
This morning it asked me to imagine kissing someone twice my age. That would mean someone of 108. Needless to say, I refreshed the page.

Carpe diem
The recent rise to fame of Susan Boyle and her incredible voice serves as a reminder to us all how important it is to pursue your dreams before it is too late. In my mind 50 is the moment when you still have the time to try. A year or so back I decided to write down the thoughts and ideas that were in my head. Word made things easy for me; when I was 10 my teacher, Mr Sadler, sat observing me while I wrote and came to the conclusion that my brain was working too fast for my hand. This was why my handwriting was and still is, so bad. It’s taken me 40 years to really start to write. It doesn’t matter that I will never be properly published, I’m having a great time just making up stories and trying to make the people in them behave as if they were real. Some stories are useless and other are much better.

My new blog
When my little blog died because Blog Charm closed down, I decided to set up a new blog here. The old blog was about books I’d read, what I’d heard on the radio and things I’d learnt. The new one is going to be the same except that I’ve written another short story and put it over there. If you liked the one I wrote for Christmas, take a look at the new one and let me know what you think…

Enjoy what you're doing and get paid
I think most people who visit this blog regularly will realise that I also try to make a little money on the side. blog advertising is a way of earning money for bloggers which seems to be increasing in popularity. It can also serve to increase search engine ratings as you add links to your posts.
I’ve recently joined up with Smarty and have already written one or two reviews for them. Smarty ask for blog posts between 150 and 400 words, which isn’t too much if you’re writing on some of the interesting proposals which can come your way. You are provided with a home page where you can see offers suitable for your blog. So far there has always been something there for me. If you accept an offer you have 3 days to submit your post. All of the instructions and rules are clearly explained. The best part is that you can get paid for blogging once a week.

My name
Some one sent me a payment for a postcard and this is the handwriting they used for the envelope. In purple ink too!
Wish I could write like that....

What Anji Did Next
Rob was using the computer on Friday afternoon when there was a bang and the smell of burning. The fuse blew too. On Saturday morning we took it back to after sales as it was still under guarantee. Hopefully we should have it back in two weeks. Please, please, please let the memory be okay. I’ve got so much stuff stored on it, pages and pages of writing. I always meant to record it onto a disc but never got round to it. Now I’m struggling on a laptop. I know I’ll get used to it but….

I've been paid!
I know I’ve written about this twice before but I’m really pleased to say that I’ve now been paid for the first few articles I wrote for PayPerPost The articles have to be up for a month once they’ve been approved before you get paid and they really do pay on the 30th day! So far I’ve been paid $37.20 and I’ve got another $29 to come. It’s been great to make some money from blogging. I’m really inspired now to continue writing and I think I shall aim to make enough money buy myself a really nice pair of boots for the winter (see post below!). I’m pleased that I came across the site via Creating A Better Life (see blogroll), she really does come up with some great and interesting ideas.

Do you remember?
A couple of weeks ago I wrote about how you can make money with Pay Per Post. Well I’m writing about them again because I’ve discovered that if anyone signs up and enters my email address (anjiknut(at)aol(dot)com) as referrer I can earn $5. There’s a huge choice of all sorts of articles to choose from and you can be paid from couple of dollars upwards, when your post is accepted. You’re allowed to write up to three posts a day as long as there are unpaid posts in between. One of the advantages I’ve found with this is that it’s given me some fresh ideas for blog posts as much as anything else.
There is an option where you can denote your fee to charity , if you’d rather do that.

PayPerPost
We’re all here because we enjoy blogging and the interaction with other bloggers. I’ve certainly made some great friends though it. I love the daily ritual of visiting my blog in the morning to see if I’ve received comments overnight and check to see who’s updated on my blogroll. I was excited recently to find that I could do all this and get paid. PayPerPost is a great site to use and it helps people and companies to advertise on blogs. There is a wide variety of posts to choose from. The minimum number of words required is clearly marked and there are plenty of posts where you don’t have to write that much. An indicator tells you what kind of post to write, for example, positive, neutral or negative.

When you’ve posted you can easily check back later to see if the post has been excepted and when you will be paid. Check them out and see what you think!
