This morning should have been my last lesson with my new pupil. Grammar is hard to learn and not easy to teach sometimes. Half an hour into the lesson my student excused himself and spent the next five minutes throwing up in the toilet. We decided to continue the lesson when he feels better.
Sentence patterns and Adverbials aren’t that bad, are they?
Glad he made it to the bathroom. I feel sorry for the poor student. It must have been embarassing. And I'm sure that you made the sentence patterns and adverbials most interesting.

ReplyDeleteI've been helping a friend with a college final. I'M the one that wants to puke. How to decipher the rantings of someone that refuses to use any form of punctuation??? Often times I just have to guess where one sentence stops and the next starts. Sometimes I just give up and close my eyes, wielding a pencil and make a stab at the paper and VOILA... a sentence! LOL
