This is how the deed is done
It looks like the French government is
looking into banning images of women that have been airbrushed to make them
look “perfect”. There will also be
investigations into the thin-ness of models on the cat walk.
The other day I was looking at some
magazines on display at the newsagents.
One of them caught my eye and I was reading the titles trying to find
out what was wrong with the poor woman on the cover. Then I realized that she was modeling clothes
that were to be featured in the magazine.

ReplyDeleteIt's salutary to watch these short video films. Actually, I feel a lot better about myself now, because I feel 'real'.
ReplyDeleteI'm slightly sorry for the models. They must realise that they are merely raw clay to be drawn on and painted, then photographically altered into a quite different person. I'd find that insulting.

ReplyDeleteI read an article explaining how movies use cgi now to the actors look better. This is an addition to make-up, hair design, lighting, etc.

Dave: hello, thank you for your comment. There is a lot of deception going on. Unfortunately very young girls try to model themselves on women that don't exist which makes for a lot of unhappiness.
