Grapefruit warning.
If you remember, just before Christmas, I found a warning in a French magazine about eating grapefruit combined with high blood pressure medication. When I spoke to my Mother-in-law about it, she told me that the warning appeared on the notice enclosed with her tablets. Last week I saw the warning again, this time in an English magazine. There are enzymes in the grapefruit that prevent the medicine from working properly. I love grapefruit, hopefully I’ll be off the tablets soon.
