Swans
The BBC are tracking swans by satellite as they migrate south for the winter, a fascinating program. They've already discovered that the swans have frequent rests as they are too large to glide. I'd often wondered why the swans landed on the marshes before flying over to RĂ© island, only a couple of miles away.
