Spring has sprung

This photo was taken just over a week ago; the blossom has fallen now . For a few days I had a layer of pink petals in the bottom of the bath every evening. Now the tree is covered in leaves.

I took this all by myself with my phone. When I get the hang of putting what I take onto the computer, you’ll get to see more.

Beautiful, Angie.
Here, North of Montreal it is minus 6,midmorning,lots of snow and ice out there. I have some carnations and marguerittes to look at though and will make sure to appreciate them before they wilt. I miss those European springs soooo much.

This is encouraging since we are heading south very soon. Shall have to wave from just over the horizon this time.

Beaufiful flowers. I don't use a phone camera, I don't know how to get the pictures off it either. I always have a small camera in my purse. I take pictures with it all the time.

Beautiful photo. Do you know what kind of tree it is?

Right now, the Cherry Blossom Festival is going on here. I also see apple blossoms out. And my garden is waking up!

'ere, your blossom has got freckles!
Our cherry blossom is already falling, or drifting on the breeze. We're now looking forward to the hawthorn. Well, I am.

Gorgeous flowers! I dream of one day owning a tree that has flowers. :-)

Ellena: That sounds very cold to me.

Sy: Thanks, you inspired me. I've been trying to photograph textures; My humble phone works better for photos than Rob's iPhone!

Caroline: let me know when you fly over and I'll go outside to wave.

Connie: i don't have a real camera but I think that I might like one soon.

Véronique: It's a kind of plum, it has red leaves and the new wood is pinky too. I've been thinking about the cherry blossom, especially in Japan recently. Spring is coming - at last!

Dru: Yes it's the Anthers. I like the look but not the smell of hawthorn

Stefani: I hope that one day you do!

Don't you just love blossom. So romantic and beautiful. We don't have anything of spring up here in Stockholm yet. It's still bluddy snowing occasionally! The cameraphone looks like it takes some good pictures.

Suz: I hope that you don't have to wait much longer for the spring. Yes, I'm pretty pleased with the results so far.
