Is spring in the air?

As I was returning from the post office this morning I saw a squirrel crossing the road. I haven’t seen a squirrel so far away from the woods before. Fortunately there wasn’t much traffic passing through the village at that time of the day. Rob and I have seen a few frogs on our evening walks recently too. I hope the weather doesn’t go cold again and catch them all out.

O, listen to the doomsayers, that's global warming for ya. : \ Or some such nonsense. Personally, I'm ready for Spring.

Pussy willows are popping out here. We usually get what I call a "False Spring" then we get another blast of cold. I don't prune my roses until March. The frogs usually start the chirping in the frog ponds on March 8th here. I think they were a day early last year.

I wish you an early spring.

I'd like to do the same for us, but it seems that winter has barely started in SE Pennsylvania.

Well it is still ultra hot here and I know autumn is a long way off.

Kimberly: Weather has been odd recently...

Phyllis: We prune roses at the beginning of December here. i haven't got round to doing mine yet so now I have an excuse. I love listening to the frogs on spring evenings.

Cas. thanks, sounds like you've got snow?

Southernbelle: I know! Hope you are keeping cool.
